Lifeguard Recertification Course
Lifeguard Recertification Course:
Recertification is available for Certified Lifeguards, which will include a written test and skills verification. Students should come to the class prepared to demonstrate proficiency in all skills, as well as pass the “multiple choice” written test. Only new skills will be reviewed. It is highly recommended to review the 2012 Red Cross Manual to be knowledgeable in the new materials (See information regarding manual above) For those requiring only CPR/AED for the Professional there is a possibility of participating in only that section of the recertification course, yet we do recommend the entire course.
Lifeguarding Review Course:
- The Minimum Requirements: Current Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED oNote: If the Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate is expired, participants must take the full Lifeguarding or Shallow Water Lifeguarding course.
- The review course is designed to review the lifeguarding skills and core knowledge points required to recertify in lifeguarding.
- Course Length: 12 hours, 50 minutes
- Successful completion results in a 2-year certification in Lifeguarding that includes first aid, professional-level CPR and AED in one certificate.
- Cost: $90
